Kɔɪli Korner: Boingotlo

Hi Kɔɪlies,

It is time for another kɔɪli korner and this time, we have the beautiful and vibrant Boingotlo sharing  both her hair and skin experience with kɔɪli. She even has some tips and ideas on how to get the most from your products!  Enjoy...

Please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a fun and nature loving person who enjoys a good laugh. I’ve only ever had natural hair. I have relaxed my hair a couple of times throughout the course of my life, but it has mostly been natural. I currently have dreadlocks.

Which of the koili butters have you used and for how long?
I use the koili castor & avo butter, the vanilla hair & body oil and the peppermint hair intensive oil treatment. I have used all of them since they have been on the market.

What do you use your koili for?
I mostly use the products on my skin.

Tell us how you use it and how often?
I use the butter on my hair when I have an afro, typically after a wash in the morning when the hair is still wet. This is one of the products that leaves my hair moisturised and shiny after application on wet hair. Also it is easily absorbed by the hair. I have also started to use the new peppermint oil on my hair.

On my skin,  I use the butter almost everyday. Sometimes I add some to my bath if I am looking to relax and just soak up. I use the products with sugar to create a body scrub.- very easy and convenient to make. The oil and the butter also make for very great massage oils.

Do you have a regimen/routine? If so could you please tell us about it
Not really. But I am all about convenience and ease of use and the koili products are exactly that.

What do you like most about your butter?
The smell. And the way it makes my skin look and feel. A lot of people have complimented how radiant and soft my skin is. I love that. Also it is quite affordable and lasts for a very long time.

How would you describe your hair texture/ skin?
I have extremely dry skin. My hair is very soft and light-as in the opposite of dense, very curly and hard J

What are some of your problem areas (if any) that require extra care and attention?
My scalp tends to get really itchy and can be prone to dandruff if not taken care of.

Anything else you might like to share?
Koili products make for great gifts. I have given them to many people, for their hair, skin and even eczema. Most of them have loved the product and are now users
